We are looking for someone to fill two key roles in our corporate office:

Consumer Care:  You will be responsible for overseeing all direct consumer interactions and representing our company to external contacts.  Your primary duties will include: responding to consumers via phone, email and online; resolving consumer issues and concerns; answering product and company related questions; responding to general inquiries; maintaining records of all your communications; and representing consumers internally by informing the Planet team about consumer needs, trends and concerns.

Social Media:  This is a new role within our company.  We are in the initial stages of planning our social media program and have not gone live, so his will be an excellent opportunity for a creative social mediaist to play a leading role in a new social media program.  You will be deeply involved in planning, developing, implementing and monitoring all social media activity.  Your primary duties will include: managing the company’s social media accounts, creating and curating content, planning content schedules, seeking out and engaging with social media partners, identifying social media opportunities, tracking and analyzing metrics, and assisting the marketing manager develop social media strategies and campaigns.

In addition to your core responsibilities, you may also be asked to assist with other projects and tasks.  As a smaller company, we all share tasks ranging from general office duties, administrative tasks, sales support, and other.  We value team members who can be flexible and adaptable, so be sure to showcase your other skills and experience to us!

Job Details

This is a full-time position (40 hours/week), Monday through Friday. Wages start at $20/hour. Benefits include: extended health care, flexible work hours and more. Start date is immediate, but flexible.

Education and Experience

-  Some college or university education preferred.

-  Experience in a customer service position.

-  Experience in a social media position.

-  A warm, friendly and positive personality.

-  Excellent written and oral communication skills.

-  Excellent people skills.

-  Ability to interact with challenging consumers calmly and tactfully.

-  Ability to utilize humor and professionalism effectively in your communications.

-  Ability to follow procedures and maintain records in an organized fashion.

-  Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.

-  Self-motivated and highly organized, able to complete tasks with limited supervision.
