Volunteer Recruitment Facilitator

Job Summary

Recruit, orient and support volunteers across several programs at Lifetime Networks for their roles building lasting friendships or group facilitation with individuals with a disability. This role reports directly to the Networks Program Manager

Responsibilities Include:
• Recruit volunteers using a variety of methods
• Arrange and lead presentations and volunteer fairs in the community
• Process volunteer paperwork and maintain electronic files to a high standard
• Liaise with Lifetime Networks staff to determine volunteer needs
• Orient volunteers to their role and to Lifetime Networks
• Assist with supporting volunteers on an ongoing basis
• Helping with special projects on an as needed basis
• Provides direct support to the Networks Program Manager

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including word processing
• Takes initiative
• Reliable and responsive
• Organized
• Creative problem-solver
• Knowledge of community resources
• Volunteer coordination experience is an asset

Hours and Compensation:
• 15 hours per week
• Starting wage $18.31 per hour, increasing to $18.68 after the successful completion of a 4 month probationary period.
