Down to earth is not your typical landscaping company. We custom design, install and maintain our own landscaping projects and have the advantage of owning a beautiful nursery to support our projects. We care about every aspect of our projects, and our approach gives us the tools to control the delivery of excellence across the board.
Our culture comes first. We are fun, competitive, and passionate about our projects and our clients. Your fit within that culture is as important to us as the skills that you bring. We like quirky plant nerds, book-loving laborers, machine operators with a library of jokes, and supervisors that tell the crew to go home at the end of the day, because everyone is having too much fun!
About The Position
As the lead hand / Site Manager you are responsible for the on-time, on-budget, and customer-delighting execution of our projects. You have a lot of responsibility, but you can take pride that when a project is well-executed, you lead a team to create that. This is a leadership position in a company that doesn’t micromanage and will value your strengths.
While work is in progress, you are the main point of contact between the customer, our suppliers and contractors, the rest of the Down To Earth team, and your own team members. Overseeing the delivery of a spot-on, remarkable, project, is important. It is even more important that with each job you build ever-stronger ties of trust and loyalty with the people around you.
