We’re looking for 3 Bilingual Front Desk Customer Service Specialists – Casuals to join our caring, productive, and dynamic team of professionals. These casual positions will be located at our Signal Hill office in Esquimalt, with shifts varying between Monday-Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm as required by the department. The anticipated start date for this position is early January 2021.

The Esquimalt Military Family Resource Centre is a small non-profit organization with the responsibility of addressing the needs of military families. We provide programs and services that serve, involve, and advocate for the military community and their families; which address the unique challenges of the military family lifestyle and will result in an enhanced quality of life. Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you have:

  • 2 years’ Administration experience OR related Customer service experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs.
  • Typing ability of 50+ WPM.
  • Knowledge of local community resources and the ability to network with community resources in a positive and effective manner.
  • Sensitivity and tact in dealing with people under stressful conditions.
  • Knowledge of the unique challenges of the military lifestyle.
  • Bilingual (French and English) is a requirement of this position.
